The idea for Finding Beauty in the Pen originated with a desire to help teach other people how to write but the more I wrote, the more I realized that I don't know a whole lot about writing. I started writing when I was six and here I am, three novels, two novellas, multiple short stories, and too many poems to count later and I STILL don't know a thing about writing.
So I decided to change from teaching people to write to simply writing. Practicing, nearly every day, writing poems and chapters of stories I'll probably never finish, sometimes novels in a month, and trying to learn everything I can about the craft I call my own.
